🌟 Inclusive Digital Accessibility Skills for Devon Learners
The free Inclusive Digital Skills Training Project is an 8-month funded programme designed to help people across Devon build the digital accessibility skills they need for life, work and learning.
We specialise in supporting people who may not usually access training – including disabled people, neurodivergent learners, care experienced, those who are long-term unemployed and people in rural or isolated communities.
👩💻 What we offer – Free digital skills training
- Practical digital accessibility skills training – making it easier to use Microsoft 365, Google, smartphones and assistive tech.
- Accessible learning – captions, immersive reader, dictation and much more!
- Flexible options – online, in-person, or both to suit individual needs.
- Gentle, person-centered support and neuro-affirming.
- All sessions are free of charge and available across Devon.
👥 Who can join?
This training is designed for:
- Disabled people (including physical or sensory impairments, long-term health conditions, learning disabilities).
- Neurodivergent adults (autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, etc.).
- People with mental health issues, low confidence, or anxiety.
- Care-experienced young people & those who are NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training).
- Individuals who are long-term unemployed.
- People in rural or isolated parts of Devon.
- Minority ethnic communities – experiencing cultural or language barriers.
📍 Available across Devon including; East Devon, Exeter, Mid-Devon, North Devon, South Hams, Teignbridge, Torridge and West-Devon
🤝 How to refer Learners
By linking with Devon-based Jobcentres, Seetec, training providers, Adult and Youth Employment Hubs and other community support groups:
👉 Partners will be able to refer learners quickly by completing our simple online referral form.
👉 We’ll contact the learner directly to discuss their needs and next steps
👉Learners can start with online sessions or attend at a location across Devon.
